I don't want to be paid as an artist.
I've been steeping at this thought for quite some time : I don't want to be paid as an artist. Every service from human to human/being aiming to contribute of a better well being should be free of remuneration, made by our own wishes and gratitude, wishing really to contribute and to take care for the individuals next to you.
Wouldn't e a fair job the one that, through time, concentration, planning, disposition, produces the essencials of living? (food > farmers, that is the first thing that comes in my mind ).
To do art is also a self-discovery, an amplification of the awareness, convolution and dream. Should we (artists) be paid for it? Why should we pay for something as well? Because we want margin, borders (?). To percept ambience? Is it too boring to understand everything as the same sensory experience?
On 2016, I published on facebook:
I won’t be leader or I won't participate of artistic projects anymore if:
I'm not remunerated for at least a contribution that suits for the budget.
I don’t have a team to share and to help
I don’t have to work 24 hours per day
I don’t need to do thousands of tasks rather than to administrate it.
When there isn’t such enough time to complete it.
If we want that art is valuable, we should first value and respect ourselves!
On 2018, I was thinking again about the political organizational problems about it:
Lei Rouanet:
Since two years ago I was reflecting on the Rounet's Law in Brazil. Rouanet could be turned into a scholarship aid for emerging artists as well as the Netherlands. The aid to proposals and artistic institutions must be agreed and administered by the state, in a clean and accessible way to all.
Taxes should be MANDATORY for art, while it is the government's responsibility to sustain and preserve the country's cultural heritage. This should not depend on the power of industry on the basis of a colonial system.

Art should be sustained by the government. But the government are also our income.
But I went further: Nobody will pay for your art as long you're not invited to be in a space. But spaces also want to get your art for free.
The value of a substantial product invades our possessive egoism of individuals worlds. We pay for collective experiences, and that is commonly well accepted. So every service that is a time of fermentation (you can think in food too, as an example) it isn't considerable.
A fair job is a freely accessible intention of gratitude, with remunerated effects. Fitting this idea to some applications:
- Electronic music or portable songs shouldn't be streamed entirely, even if you pay to listen to it. It should be just a version of a process of musical experience (concert)
- Street artists risk themselves to believe in their's community common sense.
- A creative production is a self-autonomous surrender, it should be independent of financial situations
What do you think about it? I'm looking forward to hearing from you
Greetings,
